India is always regarded as one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world. With a mass of outsourced IT services it is easy to come to the conclusion. However with the increasing challenges to remain ahead in the digital revolution it’s the children in schools that must have the tools to develop new skills.

As part of this, Ravindra Krishnappa has been behind a driving force to ensure school kids have the tools they need. Ravi has been working with the Sikshana Foundation with Dell to drive 1 laptop for every class and 1 memory chip per child. In the recent drive, 120 laptops and 6,000 pen drives were given to schools to distribute to their pupils.

There’s still much more to achieve in hope this will include all Indian schools in the long-term.
