The highly anticipated agenda for Blockercon 2019 has been announced, confirming the high calibre of speakers and opportunities to learn, be challenged, and network at Blockercon 2019 from 4-6th June in Bristol, UK.

The three day event has been carefully curated along three key themes: blockchain for good exploring how charities, NGOs, and positive profit business are using blockchain to combat homelessness and the drugs trade; fintech blockchain, covering industries as wide as banking, law, and accountancy; and blockchain development and innovation, with cutting edge insight into the developers on the ground leading this technology.

Richard Potts, Founder of Blockercon, commented:

“It’s been clear to us that blockchain for blockchains’ sake isn’t enough, and that’s why we’ve taken the time to curate an impressive three day event with specific focuses that delve into not just the technology, but the impact that blockchain is having. With keynotes, workshops, discussion tables, and consultancy on hand, Blockercon 2019 is absolutely the place for businesses to be.”

Blockercon 2019 is a rare opportunity, with many of the keynote speakers coming to the UK for the first time. Delegates will never again have the chance to interact so intimately with such experts, and the workshops and roundtables are expected to be extremely popular.

Matt Whiteman, Partnership and Growth Manager Choco4Peace, said:

"There is also plenty of legitimate criticism of blockchain – I can understand the difficulty in looking past the money laundering and the ICOs that don’t do anything for humanity. We have a great opportunity to educate the public and showcase real, useful applications – and to encourage others to use this tool in ways that overshadow the failures."

Day 1, Blockercon for Good, will feature speakers from international charities, NGOs, and businesses including the Celsius Network, Finserv Experts, and Social Chains, exploring how blockchain is empowering people the world over to fight injustice.

Day 2 features keynotes from experts across blockchain for investment, law and legal services, and banking, from speakers hailing from Panxora, Own, Gravitas International, and The Chain Economy Consultancy.

Day 3, Blockerdev, will give delegates the chance to deep dive into the technology, with experts from Vault, Growence, Tel Aviv University, and Satoshi School set to give keynotes revealing the innovative ways that blockchain continues to develop.
