One of Lancashire’s top tech specialists, Magma Digital, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2019 E3 Business Awards, which will be held at the University of Bolton Stadium on Thursday 11th July 2019.

The company, based in Buckshaw Village, employs some of the country’s top specialists in bespoke software development and has been selected from amongst hundreds of nominees to become one of the finalists for the prestigious Employer of the Year category.

Carrie Nestor, head of operations at Magma Digital said: “It’s an honour to be shortlisted for the E3 Employer of the Year Award. We pride ourselves on offering the very best service and technical support to our clients, this is only possible by attracting and retaining the very best team in the industry.”

Founder of Magma Digital, Jeremy Coates said: “We are delighted to be a finalist in the E3 Business Awards, particularly in the employer of the year category. Attracting the right talent is absolutely key for our business, and we offer our staff not just a career where they are supported to grow and develop, but also a great place to work and build friendships. This recognition comes at a great time for us, as we are celebrating our 20th anniversary, so to go on to win during a key milestone year will literally be the icing on the cake for us.”

“I’d like to congratulate Magma Digital,” said Mubarak Chati, managing director of 1 Events Media, which hosts the E3 Awards. "We get hundreds of very compelling nominations every year, so to be named a finalist is a genuine achievement in itself.

"I say that partly because I know how rigorous the judges are when they make their shortlist selections. We have worked very hard to create a judging process that is fair, transparent and clearly defined, so finalists can feel proud that they really earned their place at the Awards evening. To get here, companies such as Magma Digital have shown that they are amongst the best, most dynamic businesses in the whole of the North West.

“More generally, we’ve set out to create an experience that we hope makes every entrant feel special. And it’s right that they should; looking at each year’s applications, it’s always amazing to see what northwest companies are achieving; how much passion and intelligence they put into their plans for growth. Not all of them reach the finals of course, and that makes Magma Digital’s achievement all the more impressive.”
