Spitch Hires New Director of Sales and Consultancy as Part of Continued Investment in UK

Spitch, a leader in AI-fuelled spoken language technology, is pleased to announce that Gary Williams has joined the company as the new Director of Sales and Consultancy for the United Kingdom. He will report directly to Spitch’s Global Development Director and Country Manager, Piergiorgio Vittori. Gary will be responsible for the UK sales strategy and growing its channel relationships as the company targets aggressive double-digit growth for 2019.

Spitch, head-quartered in Switzerland, is building on the Swiss reputation for precision and applying it to develop AI-powered speech solutions, from NLU to Voice Biometrics and Speech Analytics, which are unmatched in terms of the accuracy achieved. Available as both cloud-based and on-premise services, the Spitch technology addresses increasingly sophisticated, omni-channel customer demands whilst improving end-customer experience, increasing engagement all while reducing organisation costs and elevating the brand reputation.

Gary joins Spitch from Nuance, where he was responsible for increasing growth by 100% during his time with the company. He has extensive expertise in working with speech technology and brings with him over two decades of enterprise sales experience. At Spitch, Gary will be responsible for expanding the company’s UK channel programme, continuing its channel-first philosophy and growing its UK customer base. The firm has a full-suite of cutting-edge solutions that help organisations manage and enforce compliance processes, improve the call-centre experience and enhance security across a range of industries including, banking, insurance, telecom, transport, retail, healthcare and government.
