At Europe’s number one security event, InfoSecurity Europe (Earl’s Court , London, from April 19-21), ValidEdge will demonstrate security products that will help to protect corporate networks and computers against cyber attacks. ValidEdge will show the MIS 1200, a new class of anti-malware analysis solution. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the ValidEdge booth (L-76) to submit malware samples for testing and see the in-depth analysis report.

The number of new Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) that take place over long periods of time across the cyber threat spectrum (i.e., phishing, spam, scans, Trojans, bots, etc.) is ever increasing.

ValidEdge is providing differentiated solutions that help organizations understand and protect against new and unknown malware attacks. The ValidEdge malware analyzers are designed to provide comprehensive knowledge about potential threats, allowing IT and security organizations to quickly react to new attacks on their infrastructure.

The ValidEdge MIS product family has a recently released product, the MIS1200, that adds new analysis and repair functionality. According to Kuljeet Kalkat, VP of Product Management, ValidEdge, “Zero-day malware and single-target attacks are especially problematic for IT organizations and security incident managers. We are confident that the ValidEdge MIS malware analyzer outperforms competitive solutions in analysis of unknown malware.

We welcome attendees at InfoSecurity to submit sample malware for testing in the ValidEdge booth at InfoSecurity. They will receive a detailed sample output report produced by our analyzer.”

Kuljeet will also be presenting a conference paper at InfoSecurity 2011 titled “A Virus Research Lab in Every Computer,” at Noon on Wednesday, April 20. The paper examines how malware detection and analysis software could move from a network appliance to the endpoint itself, offering protection for client devices when they are away from the corporate network.
