Samsung really is doing its best to rub Apple up the wrong way. The company recently made its Super Bowl debut with its first-ever Super Bowl ad. The “game changing” Galaxy Note required a launch platform just as significant which is why Samsung chose the largest event in North America to unveil this product – Super Bowl XLVI.

Samsung picked Bobby Farrelly, known for directing famous comedy films There’s Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber and Kingpin, to direct his first ever TV commercial. The 90-second Galaxy Note Super Bowl commercial actually aired during the 4th quarter of the big game on Sunday, February 5th.

Kudos to Samsung’s marketing department for having the gumption to sign it off
